Amongst the older presigious projects of GCC are:

• The Ledra Palace Hotel, was the first Project constructed by GCC, in 1947.  Since the Turkish invasion of 1974, the Hotel is in the Buffer Zone and used by the United Nations.  Despite its bullet-ridden walls, the building is still standing proud and the beauty of the architecture can still be seen
• The Nicosia International Airport. Since the Turkish invasion of 1974, the Hotel is in the Buffer Zone and used by the United Nations. 
• The Nicosia Municipality Theatre - constructed by GCC in 1967
• The Apollonia Beach Hotel - a 5 star hotel constructed by GCC in 1969
